Practicing Carbon Farming

I had the honor and privilege of spending the day with Ariel Greenwood, of Holistic Ag and the herd.

Studying the maps of the grazing area on Pepperwood Preserve, we were able to section off appropriate areas.

Installing the sturdy portable electric fencing that contains the animals, mimicking ruminant grazing patterns that has sustained grasslands for thousands of years.

Happy California cows.
